Campbell is a modern day forager with a passion for fine cuisine and an appetite for fresh locally grown produce. Formally trained as a chef, with over 15 years experience in the industry, Campbell studied and worked in organic production horticulture shortly after relocating to the North Coast. In 2008, he and his family moved to a wildlife sanctuary on the edge of the rainforest in the Byron Bay hinterland and focused on putting this accumulated knowledge to good use. Lychee, green mango, lime and black sapote are just some of the fruits regularly harvested from their orchard, eggs are collected daily from a small brood of free-range chooks and seasonal produce is hand picked from abundant vegetable and herb gardens. When not tending to their boutique farm, Campbell is a regular at local farmers’ markets, where he forages for ingredients and discusses new season produce with a network of local producers.

Rachel cut her teeth as Event Manager for The Prince's Trust, a charity in the UK founded by HRH Charles, The Prince of Wales. In 1998 she was invited by The Rowland Company, the public relations arm of leading global advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, to take on the role of International Event Director. Notable achievements include launching Speedo International's new technologically advanced ‘Fast Suit’ swimwear to the world press at the FINA World Swimming Championships in Athens... and the Smirnoff International Fashion Awards, an event for 2000 guests and an entertainment/hospitality programme for 300 participants from 52 countries. After relocating to Australia in 2001, Rachel spent 10 years at the helm of Bird Textiles, growing a sole trader operation into an internationally renowned creative business.
These days Rachel happily juggles a young family, her boutique marketing and design consultancy wordonthebird and styling, planning and event coordination for Forage and Graze weddings and events. What ties it all together is a creative detail-oriented focus, an enviable eye for design and exceptional time and event management skills. When she's not playing creative super-mum, you'll find her pottering in the vegie garden or devouring delicious food cooked up by chef-hubby, Campbell.
